5 Insanely Useful Vegan Items You Need In 2016

My favorite thing about the New Year is that it allows for a magical sense of renewal and a chance to start fresh. It is the day we fill ourselves up with courage and tell ourselves this is the year we will start doing more of the things that matter to us, and less of the things that don’t.

Christmas time is when I truly start prepping for the New Year, because a fresh new start always requires some preparation!

I know you can feel my excitement as I am writing these words, because these are indeed powerful days to set our intentions and raise our hopes for more exciting things entering our lives.

Being a vegan, I know you an I have some similar goals and things to look forward to this New Year. It may sound quite simplistic, even childish, but last year I was leaping with joy, because I got my first ‘real’ blender (I was using a small hand mixer up to that point). Believe it or not, this new blender gave me a huge sense of comfort and freedom, considering that I also eat gluten-free and sugar-free. It was something I never realized I needed SO MUCH!

This is why I would like to share with you these 5 insanely useful items that could be a game changer for you this New Year! You do deserve to give yourself a Christmas present and make ‘vegan’ even more awesome in 2016!

Did you know that among other benefits, cutting fruit and veggies with ceramic cutlery preserves their energy field and certain qualities that may be lost when using steel? It may sound like fairy-tairy stuff to you, but ever since my mum gave me a set of ceramic knives as a spontaneous present, I can never look back! I can literally feel the quality of my salads has become so much better when using my cute green ceramic knive. I absolutely adore it, and it actually brings more joy in food preparation! Plus, it’s a tiny investment to make for all the benefits you are getting from owning a colorful set of ceramic knives! I recommend:
Similarly, a good cutting board was something I didn’t realize I needed so much until I visited my dad in his country house, where he had revamped his kitchen. Not only did the awesome new colors make such a difference, but the convenience to chop up the veggies on this super convenient new cutting board. One thing I respect about my dad is he knows quality pays off numerous times! And an eco-friendly cutting board that is dye and formaldehyde free is something that does pay off for itself!!!

Bread maker
One of the items I can’t even look at any more is store-bought bread. Despite the ‘healthy’ and gluten-free options out there I cannot stop but feel like it’s laden with stuff that’s bad for me, and I can never trust it doesn’t contain any animal products or preservatives. Ever since I tasted the home-made bread of my ex boyfriend’s sister, I knew I needed one of these babies in my own kitchen! This is another item your soul is absolutely screaming for and you will NOT regret buying!
