Amazing Vegan Tahini Butter Cups

If so, you should definitely give these cocoa and tahini butter cups a whirl. These calcium-rich treats come together with just five ingredients, and their taste is nothing short of amazing. Bitter and sweet at the same time, these butter cups are an easy and delicious dessert to add to your repertoire.

Ingredients
For the Cacao Layer:
- 1/4 cup melted cacao butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon heaped raw cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Tahini Layer:
- 1 tablespoon melted cacao butter
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
To Make the Cacao Layer:
On a double boiler on very low heat, mix all the ingredients for the cacao layer.

Fill the mini-silicone molds until they are hall-full.
The above quantity makes 8 buttercups. Freeze for 1 hour.
To Make the Tahini Layer:
On a double-boiler on very low heat, mix all of the ingredients given for the tahini layer.
Add this on top of the frozen cacao layer.
You could use a toothpick to swirl across and create marble effect.
Notes
Store frozen.
