According to reports, Prince Harry and his fiancée Meghan are getting in tip-top shape for their upcoming wedding. And as the Daily Mail reported, that includes Prince Harry joining Meghan in her clean eating lifestyle.
She has also reportedly been ‘weaning him off meat’.
That lifestyle includes juicing, cutting out almost all ‘bad carbohydrates’, and eliminating all processed foods. Instead of enjoying sugary treats, Prince Harry is now said to be chowing down on healthy favorites like kale and quinoa. And, according to the Daily Mail, thanks to his new lifestyle the Prince has lost “half a stone,” or about seven pounds.
During a a visit to a Chicago school last year, the royal did admit that he had given up pizza, years after his Army colleagues revealed the sixth-in-line to the throne ‘lived off Kentucky Fried Chicken’ during his years serving in the Forces.
Meanwhile, his family’s former chef, Darren McGrady, has previously l that as young boys Harry and William loved eating burgers, pizza, and potato skins.
So, perhaps the prince actually has decided to ditch the junk food in favour of a heathy eating and fitness regime ahead of his big day with his fiancée?
In contrast, Markle has long boasted a healthy diet and once described her ‘ideal day’ involving a ‘clean cleanse vanilla shake’ blended with blueberries, a Niçoise salad for lunch, with a little goats cheese and possibly a slice of baguette on the side, with seafood for dinner.
She previously told Women’s Heath UK:
‘I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends.
But at the same time, it’s all about balance … I don’t ever want to feel deprived. I feel that the second you do that is when you start to binge on things.’
We realize many vegans would say she is not even close to being vegan, but we feel she is at least being somewhat of a positive influence, joining the royal family, and possibly these are just the first steps.
