The key to making good cauliflower bites
is getting that perfectly golden, crispy exterior. Without it, forget it. You’ll basically have soggy cauliflower that is soaked in hot sauce, which is so not what we are going for here. In order to get the most crispy cauliflower bites possible, this recipe is prepared with cold water rather than non-dairy milk. While the almond milk versions aren’t bad, they don’t crisp up quite the same as the ones with water for one reason or another.
These bites are best eaten after they have had a chance to set out for bit at room temperature
