This is HUGE! Looks like meat eaters have been WRONG ALL ALONG!
During the annual AMA conference held in Chicago it was announced that based on scientific study, all hospitals and medical institutions should not only start to offer plant based foods in every facility but should also REMOVE ALL MEAT, DAIRY and EGGS from their menus.
The conference is held every year by the American Medical association and is attended by world leading physicians who are responsible for developing our understanding of human health.
Neal Barnard, M.D. (president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) quoting from the conference said:
“Plant based foods should be offered to every patient in the hospital. Bacon, sausage , eggs, ham and other processed meats should be removed”
Several Doctors at the conference also confirmed, “This is exactly what we need” referring to plant based diets based on information provided by the World Health Organisation that state animal based products cause Colorectal (CRC) cancer and contribute to other heart related issues.

The tide is turning! It’s been an exciting few weeks in our work to make hospital food healthier and to promote the power of plant-based foods for disease prevention, thanks to new statements from the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association (AMA). Let’s continue to work together to make the world a healthier place!
Here is the link to the AMA press release stating they have passed ‘Resolution 406: Healthful Hospital Foods’ which states:
“RESOLVED, That our American Medical Association hereby call on US hospitals to improve the health of patients, staff, and visitors by (1) providing and promoting plant-based meals that are low in fat, sodium, and added sugars for hospital patients, staff, and visitors, and (2) eliminating the use of processed meats from patient menus. (Directive to Take Action)”
